These are the highlights for tonight:
DermTech, Inc. (DMTK), in a week and a half, went from 11 to Wednesday’s session high at 27 1/2, before pulling back and closing up 2.74, or 13.26%, to 23.40, on 2.5 million shares traded. It then ran up an additional 60 cents to an even 24 in after-hours. It is overbought. You can see from seeing it go from 27 1/2 back down to 23.40 that a pullback occurred, but it was a major breakout from a base pattern. It needs to rest, but we may see higher levels.
FuelCell Energy, Inc. (FCEL) had quite a move up after the explosive move in November, formed a nice 3-week coil, and now it has been up for seven days in a row after Wednesday’s pop of 2.68, or 24.90%, to 13.42, with a session high of 173.8 million shares traded. At this point, it might be headed to 17-18.
Lithium Americas Corp. (LAC), along with other lithium stocks, moved up on Tuesday and Wednesday. From around the first of October, it dropped dramatically out of a fallen wedge to mid-November, held support, and went right back up against resistance. On Wednesday it popped 1.08, or 9.52%, to 12.43, with a session high of 12.98, on 14.9 million shares traded. Secondary targets going forward are 13 3/4 and 16.
Luna Innovations Incorporated (LUNA) popped again on Wednesday with a move up of 1.08, or 11.18%, to 10.74, and a session high of 10.82, on 563,690 shares traded. This swing has been great for us, especially on Wednesday as it popped out of a wedge to test the November high, which was 10.82 exactly, with a double-top. If it gets through here, the targets going forward are 12 and 14.
Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. (SRNE) woke up on Wednesday with a nice pop of 1.34, or 18.56%, to 8.56, and a session high of 8.88, on 43.1 million shares traded. If this stock can get up through 9.00, it might move quickly to 11, and then 12 1/2.
