Caesars Entertainment, Inc. (CZR) is a swing of ours that is moving up slow and steady after the completion of the Eldorado Resorts, Inc./Caesars merger. On Wednesday it was up 2.13, or 4.9%, to 45.99, with a session high of 46.40, the highest level since Feb, on 4.1 million shares traded. If it does break out here, I’m looking for targets in mid-50’s, and then the mid-60’s.
DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. (DKS) had a big day on Wednesday as it exploded 7.32, or 15.7%, to 53.85, with a session high of 54.50, on monster volume of 19.3 million shares traded on a breakaway gap. Strong earnings report broke it out of a flag. It’s at secondary support, but it seems to me that the next target would be a test at that level, which is 62.
Urban Outfitters, Inc. (URBN) had big earnings on Wednesday and a big day on a breakaway gap, exploding 4.45, 21.4%, to 25.25, with a session high of 26.89, on 15.55 million shares traded. That is huge volume for that stock. I’m looking for an extension that takes this one up to 29 1/2.
Workday, Inc. (WDAY) broke through a double-top on Wednesday, out of a base pattern, extending the channel with a move up of 19.59, or 10%, to 213.62, with a session high of 219.95, on 6 million shares traded. New targets are 225 and 245.
Zuora, Inc. (ZUO) came out of a falling wedge on Wednesday with a pop through the moving averages and the trendline, jumping 1.33, or 11.3%, to 13.09, with a session high of 13.19, on 3.2 million shares traded, which is the biggest volume in three months. Now I’m looking for a test of 14, 15, and better.
