It was a mixed session on Wall Street on Tuesday, but a lot of the stocks we follow continue to thrust. While gold came to the forefront, marijuana got smacked. No one knows what’s going to pop up from day to day for trading.
Ceragon Networks Ltd. (CRNT) was put out as a swing and broke through not only the declining topsline but followed through with a takeout of the January highs, with a pop of 1.15, or 5%, to 25.21, on 19,007 shares traded. I’m now looking for something in the 4 3/4-5 zone, and then the 5 3/4-6-6 1/4 area. Eventually, it will be a 7-dollar target.
Royal Gold, Inc. (RGLD) broke out of its pattern. The falling wedge broke a couple days ago, and on Tuesday the flag broke. It popped 1.86, or 2.24%, on 84.89, on 423,719 shares traded. All it needs to do is get this one over 863/4, and the targets are 91, 98, 103, and so on.
Stratasys Ltd. (SSYS) is a quality company and leader in the 3-D industry. On Tuesday, it popped 1.79, or 8%, to 24.07, on 1.8 million shares. A couple of years ago, this stock went from under 8 to over 150, and got hammered back to a multi-year base. If this pops out above the base pattern, it could be a long-term move beginning. I’ll need to see better volume and technicals, and I would like to see a pullback entry opportunity. Once it’s headed to 25 3/4, it’s headed to 28, 31, and more.
Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. (VYGR) had another explosive move and monster buy for this stock on Tuesday, jumping 3.08, or 38%, to 11.12, on 6.5 million shares. That’s the biggest volume ever traded by this stock that I can see since it went public. After a big decline from the August high around 22, it went all the way down to 7, and change. It looks like the declining channel broke on Tuesday with this monster move. It backed off the 50-day but closed at the upper end of the range. My targets going forward are 15 3/4, and then possibly to the low 20’s. Keep an eye on this one. I may put a swing on it if I like what I see.
Energous Corporation (WATT) is one of our old favorites. A year ago, this stock got some kind of FDA approval on their remote charging, and it jumped from 8.42 to 24.00 in one day, and then the next day it jumped to 33.50, before a very long, a year decline set in, and it went all the way down to under 5.00. On Tuesday it jumped just 76 cents to 229.42, on 702,116 shares traded. I’m convinced this stock has explosive potential and I’m looking for a pop out of the wedge and across the 50-day. If it gets through 8.15-.20, it could take off. If it takes out 8.55, then it’s headed to 10, 11, and 13, or more.
Xerox Corporation (XRX) had a great day on Tuesday, with a spike-up of 2.77, or 11%, to 27.07, on over 10 million shares. It imploded to 18 1/2, and here it is at 27.07. There is resistance here along with the 29 1/4 range. If it gets through this zone, I’m looking for it to run to the low 30’s if it gets to 29. My targets are 29 and 32.
