Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. (CPS) swing trade could not have done better when we issued it when it broke out on November 6 and went ballistic, having gone from under 19.00 to 42.00 in less than two weeks. On Wednesday it moved up 1.37, or 3.63%, to 39.16, with a session high of 41.85, on 480,431 shares traded. It closed at the lower end of the range so there may be a reversal on the way, at least temporary.
Corsair Gaming, Inc. (CRSR), since the September 23 IPO, has just gone crazy with a pop, a wedge, a pop, a retest, and then an explosive move on Wednesday of 2.99, or 9.31%, to 35.09, with a session high of 36.87, on 3 million shares traded and an additional 24 cents higher in after-hours. The reversal day in seven sessions kind of triggered it from 23.50 to nearly 37.00.
Micro Focus International plc (MFGP), which is coming out of a falling channel with a long downtrend, literally exploded on a breakaway gap on Wednesday, taking this stock up another 1.11, or 30%, to 4.81, with a session high of 5.11, on 10.6 million shares traded. With a day like this, MFGP could extend to 5.50-5.75 range, but eventually my swing target is 7.00.
Electrameccanica Vehicles Corp. (SOLO) popped sharply last week, pulled back, and for three days it has moved back up from the 5.37 area to a Wednesday move up of 47 cents, or 7.3%, to 6.91, with a session high of 7.35, on 32.2 million shares traded and up 24 cents to 7.15 in after-hours. The spike high last week was 7.91. If it gets through that, we might see a 9.00 stock.
Trillium Therapeutics Inc. (TRIL) broke out across key-resistance level on Wednesday and gained 1.05, or 6.26%, to 17.82, with a new session high of 18.46, on 2.9 million shares traded. The volume is picking up and it may accelerate. My targets going forward are 21, and then 24.
