APPS, CZR, DRI, LAC, SGMS, SHLL -- Stock Charts to Watch

Charts of the Day video for Tuesday September 15th, 2020

Digital Turbine, Inc. (APPS), which was a super star, going from the March low of 3 3/4 to near 30. On Tuesday it was up another 3.36, or 13%, to 28.67, with a new all-time high at 28.91, on 9.3 million shares traded, and an additional 44 cents in after-hours. You can see that the angle of ascent shows this stock in the 40’s at one point. So, keep an eye on this one. It could explode up hear.

Caesars Entertainment, Inc. (CZR) continues to impress. It has a really nice rising channel. On Tuesday it broke through the upper angle of the channel through resistance, popping 3.59, or 6 1/2%, to 58.98, with a session high of 59.41, on 6.1 million shares traded. I’m kind of confident it might make a run at 70 here. Stay tuned.

Darden Restaurants, Inc. (DRI) broke out above the June highs, and on Tuesday it moved up 1.77, or 2%, to 93.38, with a session high of 94.45, on 1.8 million shares traded. That is the highest level since early March. It seems to me a retest of the next level near 100-102 may be had. That’s a really nice angle.

Lithium Americas Corp. (LAC) popped on Monday, popped again on Tuesday, and gained another 64 cents, or 8%, to 8.79, with a session high of 9.19, on 4.9 million shares traded and another 29 cents in after-hours. It closed at the highest close we have ever seen on this stock. Next targets are 10 1/2 and 12.

Scientific Games Corporation (SGMS) broke out on Monday, followed through beautifully on Tuesday. It was up another 3.88, or 15%, to 30.31, with a session high of 30.54, on 30.3 million shares traded. It’s up against resistance here. There are multiple tops. The next target is 38. We’ll see if it needs to get through resistance or back and fill first.

Tortoise Acquisition Corp. (SHLL) popped on Tuesday. It didn’t close great, but it was still up 4.24, or 10%, to 47.49, with a session high of 49.90, on 7.4 million shares traded. The volume increased to the best in 4-5 sessions. I think a retest of the 58 range is in order. If it gets through that, we are looking for 70, or better.
