GTT, SEAC, TLYS, WKHS, WRTC — Stock Charts to Watch

Charts of the Day video for Thursday December 5th, 2019

GTT Communications, Inc. (GTT) popped out after a big down trend on Thursday and gained 53 cents, or 5.3%, to 10.52, with a high of 11.84, on 1.6 million shares. It looks like it’s based out. It formed a V-bottom with its tail, ran up to resistance, pulled back, and was now been up for its seventh day in a row before it pulled back. This is a pullback retest. I put a swing on it, perhaps, a little early. But I think it will make it into the mid-teens.

SeaChange International, Inc. (SEAC) exploded on a strong earnings report on Thursday, and popped 38 cents or 10.5%, to 4.00, with a session and 52-week high of 4.56, on 3.85 million shares. I’ve never seen this much volume on this stock before. It did pullback and retest to try to fill in the gap, but I got a feeling you’re going to start to see this stock consolidate and move up past 4.56 to get to 5 1/2 and 6 1/2. Those are my targets going forward.

Tilly's, Inc. (TLYS) is another retailer that exploded out of its base on Thursday and jumped 1.68, or 16.77%, to 11.70, with a high of 11.70, on 1.2 million shares traded. That’s one of the biggest volumes we’ve seen all year on this stock. It formed a massive gap and closed at the high for the day going away. To me, it’s breakaway day. The next targets are 13 and 14 1/2.

Workhorse Group Inc. (WKHS) was popping on Thursday. Some volume came into it and it went up to the moving average and backed off to close at resistance, gaining 22 cents, or 8%, to 3.02, with a high of 3.17, on 5 million shares. I want to see if this stock can make it to 3.30 with volume and take out 3.75. Those are the resistance and scalp targets. Swing targets are 4 1/2 and 5.

Wrap Technologies, Inc. (WRTC) had a beautiful, high-volume inside day on Thursday, and still moved up 43 cents, or 8%, to 5.73, with a high of 5.85, on 525,915 shares traded. It’s going to form some sort of wedge or consolidate and run to 7 1/2, which is my next target on this stock.
