APHA, BE, BLNK, ETSY, RCKT, SHSP — Stock Charts to Watch

Charts of the Day video for Tuesday February 26th, 2019

It was a mixed session on Wall Street on Tuesday, and a lot of stocks we follow did very well. Let’s take a look at a few of them here.

Aphria Inc. (APHA), a marijuana stock, has been a swing trade of ours since the 5.00 range. It exploded to 11, pulled back in a flag, formed a narrow wedge, and on Tuesday, it popped 63 cents, or 6.5%, to 10.32, on 7.5 million shares. What I am looking for is a follow-through to 10.60, then 10.95, and that will get it to 13 1/2-14, and eventually back up to 16-17. Near-term target is 9 1/2.

Bloom Energy Corporation (BE) swing trade is following through after Monday’s pullback. It held the trendline, snapped back, and on Tuesday it turned around from 13.60 to 14.83, up 72 cents, or 5.15%, closing at 14.70, on 1 million shares. I’m still looking for a move to 18 and 20.

Blink Charging Co. (BLNK) snapped back 55 cents, or 17%, to 3.75, on 2.6 million shares, reaching a high of 3.80 on Tuesday. It reversed after a 3-day pullback, popped up, pulled back, and tested support zone, which was resistance. It has now become support. The next target is above 4.90, and then 6.60.

Etsy, Inc. (ETSY) had a big day on Tuesday, jumping 9.64, or 16.34%, to 68.65, on nearly 24 million shares. I’ve never seen the volume that big, except for one day when it broke out last June. Tuesday could actually be another breakout day. Eventually, I’m looking for high 70’s and mid 80’s.

Rocket Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (RCKT) broke out of the neckline of the head-and-shoulders and backed off to test it again. It bounced only 23 cents, or 1.38%, to 16.84 with a high of 17.86, on 407,890 shares traded on Tuesday, but I think it’s going to follow through to test the 22 range, and then 26.

SharpSpring, Inc. (SHSP), recognized for its marketing automation software for 2019 and one of my top picks for the year, has come out of its consolidation base, climbing 1.02, or 6.75%, to 16.06, on 78,801 shares traded. The volume is light because it’s a lightly-traded stock. I think this next move takes it into the 19-20 zone.

Stocks on the long side included Aurora Cannabis Inc. (ACB), Aphria Inc. (APHA), Bloom Energy Corporation (BE), Blink Charging Co. (BLNK), Canopy Growth Corporation (CGC), Cronos Group Inc. (CRON), Pyxus International, Inc. (PYX), The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. (TGODF), Amarin Corporation plc (AMRN), Clovis Oncology, Inc. (CLVS), Epizyme, Inc. (EPZM), Etsy, Inc.
