• I can't login, but I know my username and password are correct.
• I don't get sounds when there is a new entry.
• The page does not refresh when there is a new entry.
• I'm using X browser, do you support it?.

• I can't login, but I know my username and password are correct..

You may need to delete the "cookies" on your browser and then try logging in again. Here's what to do:

1 - Go to the following url: http://www.thetechtrader.com/members/oldlogout.php
That should remove all the cookies that are currently registered for our site.

2 - Shut down and restart.

3 - Then go to http://www.thetechtrader.com/login.php to login.

• I don't get sounds when there is a new entry.

In order to get sounds from the alert page, you must first have a constant Internet connection. Second, you must have a browser that supports JavaScript and has Flash installed. To make sure your browser is 100% compatible please visit the browser compatibility page

If you do pass all the requirements and you pass the browser compatibility test (see above) and you still don't hear the alerts, please email support: info@thetechtrader.com

• The page does not refresh when there is a new entry.

The alert page will only refresh if there is a new entry. You may hear a sound every 10 seconds, (like a clicking sound if you use Internet Explorer) but that is perfectly normal. Please note that you can turn that sound off in the options for Internet Explorer Our website does require some newer browser technology to function like JavaScript and iframes. To make sure your browser is 100% compatible please visit the browser compatibility page

• I'm using X browser, do you support it?

We currently only support Internet Explorer 5.1 or greater, Netscape 7 or greater, Mozilla 1.4 or greater. Mozilla browsers also include other browsers that use the Mozilla engine such as Firefox and Galeon. We do not support WebTV or command-line browsers like lynx. To make sure your browser is 100% compatible please visit the browser compatibility page.
